Here we have a distinctive bar brooch taken from the Victorian period. This 18ct yellow gold piece features a hand motif adorned with a striking arrangement of oval-cut pinky red rubies, forming a floral design with a single tiny diamond at the centre. The hand is elegantly detailed, with a bracelet of matching rubies and a padlock chain bracelet just below before five rows of graduating old mine-cut white diamonds act as the cuff to the sleeve. The diamonds are set in a fan-like pattern above the hand, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design. A rose cut diamond can be found at the finger acting as a ring before this expertly crafted piece is made complete by an additional old cut diamond at either end of the bar.
